“Dor Mere Rishte Ki”

Kamzor itni to na thi, Dor Rishte ki meri,
Ki aaj Apnaake Bandhi, aur kal Aandhi ne todi.

Gustakhiyan ho gayi, kuch yun humse,
Ki keh gaye Ve, “GET RID OF ME” !!

Musibaton me rahe jo Saath, Banke mere Guru, mera Sahara,
Chod de kaise hum Akele Unhe, Mushkilon me unki ??

Bhulaade sab hum, Chahat hai ye unki,
Jaan aur Samajhkar bhi ki –

Naa hue abhi hum Paraaye,
Aur hai bhi itne Khudgarz nahi.

Keh gaye baat Ve, Saralta se jitni,
Kachot gayi Rooh ko mere, Gehraayi se utni.

Kehte to hai Sabhi, Such ise ki –
“GURU BIN HAI GHOR ANDHKAAR”

Anjaan hai Ve is hakiqat se ki –
Andhere me rehkar Jeene ke, Aadi hai Hum nahi !!

Phir bhi kare Jid agar, Ve Apne hi ko Bhulaa dene ki,
Taiyaar hai hum bhi Khelne, Baazi apne Jaan ki.

A Letter from Abrahim Lincoln to his son’s Teacher

He will have to learn, I know,
that all men are not Just, all men are not True.

But teach him also that, for every Scoundrel, there is a Hero,
that for every selfish Politician, there is a dedicated Leader.
Teach him, for every enemy, there is a Friend.

It will take time, I know, but teach him if you can
that a Dollar earned is of far more value, than 5 found.
Teach him to learn to loose…. & always to enjoy winning.

Steer him away from envy, if you can
Teach him secret of quiet laughter.

Let him learn early that the bullies are the easiest to lick.
Teach him if you can, the wonder of Books.

But also give him quite time
to ponder the eternal mystery of birds in Sky,
bees in Sun & flowers on green hillside.

In the school teach him, it is far honorable to fail than to cheat
Teach him to have Faith in his own ideas
even if every one tells him, they are wrong.

Teach him to be Gentle with Gentle people & Tough with tough.
Try to give my son, the Strength not to follow the Crowd
when everyone is getting on the band wagon ……

Teach him to listen to all men
But teach him also, to filter all he hears, on a screen of Truth
and take only the good that comes through.

Teach him if you can, how to Laugh when he is sad.
Teach him, theres no shame in Tears.
Teach him to scoff at cynics & to beware of too much sweetness.

Teach him to sell his brawn & brain
to the highest bidders,
But never to put a price tag, on his Heart & Soul.

Teach him to close his ears to a howling mob
and to stand & fight, if he think he’s right.

Treat him gently but do not cuddle him
because, only the taste of fire makes fine steel.

Let him have the courage to be impatient,
Let him have the Patience to be brave.

Teach him always to have Sublime faith in himself
Because then he will have the Sublime faith in mankind.

This is a BIG ORDER, see what you can do.
He is such a fine fellow,
MY SON !!!!

– ‘Abraham Lincoln’

Who is a ‘Teacher’ ?

It has been rightly said – “GOD is the creator of all. Next to GOD are the Parents & next to Parents comes the Teachers”.

A Teacher literally means – ‘A person who teaches’. But, practically teacher’s duty is not restricted just upto imparting academic bookish knowledge. Instead, they are equally responsible for overall personality development of a child, inculcating in him three C’s – Courage, Confidence & Competance to face the 4th C – Challenges. Apart from family circle, social groups like Friends, Teachers, Schools, Colleges/Institutions, are equally important in making children sincere, well-mannered & well-disciplined.

A baby in his/her infant stage, learns taking his first step by catching the fingers of his Parents. In childhood stage, learns to hold the Pen & get education, gain knowledge and wisdom of using it in appropriate & effective manner with the help of a teacher. In their teenage, children comes in contact with Professors who apart from qualifying them, also tries to improve their personalities again enabling them to face this tough, competent & challenging world with great Courage, Confidence & Assertiveness.

However, being humans, we sometimes learn many things from ‘N’ no. people we come across in our life, they being our peers, collegues, cultural groups, etc… or from various faces of life (thru the medium of time & situation). Thus, in my opinion, individual’s Life is also one of the Best Teacher, unveiling the faces of many people coming our way, giving wisdom & strength to deal with them positively, teaching to keep patience, be calm/humble in all the situations (worst, good or happiest) thus making us fully Matured. Practically, Life is a real teacher (school/college teachers being our foundations), b’coz each & every moment/incident of life keeps teaching us some new lessons every time. “More we face challenges, more Experienced we become”.

While talking about teachers, I wud certainly take this opportunity to convey my unlimited THANKS to my Professors/Teachers, who holds a very big hand in successfully making me disciplined, competent, challenging, honest, strong, sincere & sensibly matured personality, with their full support & encouragement, at every mark of my life, thereby making my foundation very strong.

To wind up with, lastly I would Quote –
“In the classroom of world,
Life is the Greatest Teacher.
Ever ready to give new experiences
If an individual is –
Truly & voluntarily prepared to learn from it”.

My concluding Quote –
“Self – Teaching is the Best & Everlasting Teaching”.
If you win from it, you are successful.
If not, you can atleast share your experiences with –
Those willing to learn, thereby preventing them from loosing.
